We are looking for partners to help with education, child welfare, and assistance in East Africa. Our main projects are the operating expenses of a children’s home in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo; English training for young people in Rwanda; pastor training in Rwanda, Uganda, and other countries; educational support for pastors and teachers at Harvest Christian Church churches and schools; and a benevolence fund for short-term needs.

Why We Do What We Do
The team members of Hope Is Moving have a passion for helping the people of East Africa. We recognize that the people have agency and are capable of making decisions. Our role is not to tell them how to do things but to come alongside them and provide assistance where it is needed. Our primary partner in Africa is Bishop Theophile Rugibira.
Many of our team members have traveled to Africa, and they have developed of love the people and the area. They have committed to helping and spreading the word.
